FEATURED RELEASES
As much as I love working on my own music, sometimes I just want to close the door to my bedroom, sit down at the piano or grab my guitar, and play some of my favorite songs of all time. Or sometimes I have some cool behind-the-scenes details about my music or my songwriting process that I want to share somewhere. Check out @joe_andrews_music on Instagram for some of this extra music content.

Being a songwriter and recording artist is really just one of the many ways I express my love for and celebrate the music I love. These are some of the other activities I like to do...

DISCOVERING MUSIC I LOVE...
Since September 2020, I have posted a "Song of the Day" on my Instagram story every day based on whatever song caught my ear that day. It's been a great way to have random interactions with people that have similar music taste, and I have no intent on ever stopping.
...SHARING MUSIC I LOVE...
I don't categorize music by decade or genre. I categorize music by whatever visceral reaction I have to it, whether that's to dance or stick my head out the sunroof or cry or lay on the floor in awe. Click on the images below to explore some of my playlists
...AND CELEBRATING MUSIC I LOVE
There are some songs that stop me in my tracks every single time they come on and demand I pay attention because they're just too freaking good. Check out my "The Top 50" playlist to see what these songs are.

TALKING ABOUT
ALBUMS I LOVE
I can admire a good playlist, but I'm an album guy at heart. There's something special about digging into a full 40 minutes of music from an artist and asking why they picked this batch of songs to live together, why they decided to order the songs the way they did, what the album artwork tells you about the music inside...Click through the albums pictured here to read my short review of the album.

SEEING
LIVE MUSIC
I spend way too much of my income on concert tickets, but I've never regretted going to a show, so I've never seen any reason to stop. Scroll through the calendar to see all the shows I've been to and all the shows I'm planning to go to.
