Speaking of: Concise Emails

Sometimes I write an email where it's a paragraph of pleasantries followed by a paragraph of backstory describing the context of the email followed by an overly detailed backstory of the issue at hand followed by a precise explanation of steps I have already taken followed by the actual question that I need the recipient to answer.

Then I delete everything but the question and hit send.
